SJCHF Announces New Board Members and Officers for 2021-2022.
St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation announces the election of officers and new board members appointed at the annual board meeting held on June 24. Officers are Board Chairman, Rick Beall, Minot, CEO, People’s State Bank; Vice-Chair, Jane Hirst, Minot, retired dietician; Treasurer, Randy Hauck, Velva, General Manager, Verendrye Electric; and Secretary, JoAnn Linrud, Bottineau, retired university administrator.
Newly appointed Board members are Jill Fuller, Garrison, retired hospital CEO; Jim English, investment representative, Harvey; and David “Doc” Brien, Rolla, consultant and Director of Tribal Affairs for Houston Engineering Inc. Foundation President, Shelly Weppler, announced, “It is an honor to welcome these thoughtful and talented individuals to our board.”
Other board members include: Marisa Albertson, MD, Trinity Health, Minot; Melissa Burud, RN, BSN, First District Health, Kenmare; Elizabeth “Becky” Brodell, retired university nursing instructor, Minot; Diane K. Lautt, owner, Law office of Diane K Lautt, PLLC, Minot; Alecia Pulver, HS Principal, Stanley Public Schools.
Recognition and gratitude of thanks were provided to Diane Lautt for 2 years of service as the Board Chair and to outgoing board members Alisa Dahl, Garrison, Anna Dykeman, Minot and Curt Guss, Minot.
St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity foundation formed in June 1998 with funding from the sale of a local hospital. The Foundation serves 120,000 people residing in an eleven-county service area by building a permanent charitable endowment, making philanthropic grants and collaborating with other organizations to provide services that contribute to the health and vitality of area communities. Over $9.6 million has been granted to communities in the counties served by the Foundation. Current assets reached a new level this year of $18.8 million. Grant applications are currently being accepted through the online grant portal found on the website at sjchfnd.com and twiceblessednd.com.
The deadline for grants is August 16th.
